Obituary for Jack Winslow Ring

Jack W., age 99 of Plymouth, formerly of Robbinsdale, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017. Preceded in death by wife Dorothy L. Ring. Survived by daughter, Janice (John); son, James W. and daughter, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Jonathon, Courtney, Tiffany, Kendell, Channa, Jeremy and Jennifer and all the wonderful great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Also survived by loving wife, Lillian Larson Ring, Don (Marge) Kay and Rita (Don) and their extended families. Jack resided at the Birches of Trillium for just over a year. He was a very devoted and generous husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family and also loved fishing at the “cabin” and “Up North” for those fishing openers. He retired, many years ago, from Land-O-Lakes after a long and very distinguished career. Jack was an active member of the Robbinsdale Compass Lodge and the Shriners. While living in Plymouth, Jack and Lillian have enjoyed the company and friendship of their very special neighbors. A loving thank you to all of Jack’s family that continued to shower him with their love. Also, special thank you to the staff at Trillium for the wonderful and loving care they gave jack. Funeral service at ST. BARNABAS LUTHERAN CHURCH (15600 Old Rockford Road, Plymouth, MN) 11:00 AM Thursday, April 27, 2017 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday, April 26th, 2017 at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH MAPLE GROVE CHAPEL (13745 Reimer Drive N.). Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Shriners Hospitals 2025 East River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55414 or St. Barnabas Church.
