Condolence: Dr. Carlson was my doctor. I found him to be very empathetic and non-judgmental. He encouraged me to exercise. I was really looked forward to telling him how I have stuck with it for six months. I am very sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of Dr. Carlson's passing. I got to know him quite well when I worked at Dakota Hospital and also encountered him at Essentia. Condolence: Dear Family of Dr. Carlson, I was shocked and saddened finding that my dear Dr. Carlson passed away. He was my doctor and he literally saved my life last year when he ordered a diagnostic test that helped avert a certain heart attack. I was so grateful to have Dr. Carlson as my physician. Condolence: My heartfelt sympathies to the whole Carlson family at the passing of David. As kids the Carlsons, Thysells and Schramms would meet on the ski hills in northern Minnesota. When I returned to Moorhead after 40 years, David became my doctor at Essentia! Condolence: I was a patient of David Carlson's and when I was told my he passed away yesterday my heart sank to the bottom of my stomach, I was just in such disbelief. He was such an amazing Dr of mine for many years and helped me stay chemical free which I had a problem with before I started seeing him, it's very rare to find a Dr as caring and understanding as he was! My prayers go out there for his family, friends, loved ones & his other patients! I know he will be dearly missed by all the lives he touched and people he helped throughout his life and career!
