Condolences

Condolence From: Richard "Rick" Johnson
Condolence: My Condolences go out to the family of Mary. I met Mary in 2000 through her husband, Tom. I met Tom when I was 9-years-old in 1965 when Tom was a Blaine Police officer. I always admired Tom as a cop since I was a little boy, and growing-up I would often see Tom on patrol for many years. By coincidence, in 2000, Tom and Mary became customers when my company installed their lawn irrigation system in their yard in Anoka. Tom invited me over to his house to talk about the old times, when I met Mary. Mary was an 9-1-1 dispatcher, and I have monitored Anoka County Radio for 22 years. When I met Mary that one time at their home, Mary got a kick-out-of-it that I spoke to her in "police radio language terminology". Some people have their favorite radio announcer disc jockeys, but Mary was my favorite 9-1-1 dispatcher. Mary was a very nice person.
