Age 83 of Spring Lake Park. Preceded in death by wife, Marjorie & brother, Marvin. Survived by children, Gary (Rita) Mortenson, Craig Mortenson (Barbie Schultz), Colette Mortenson (James) Zendarski, Jo (Daniel) Rapp, David Martie & Anthony Martie; grandchildren, Cassandra, Kayla & Jake Mortenson, Chelsea & James Zendarski, Erin & Zachary Robbins; sisters, Beverly Boe, Sharon Givens, Janet Zeman & Bonnie Cover; nieces, nephews & other relatives, also sadly missed by beloved cat, Callie. Del served with the Army Military Police after high school and retired as plant superintendent at Metallurgical Incorporated. He was an avid demolition derby champion, loved snowmobiling on freshly fallen snow, treasured many years traveling with wife, Marjie and spending time at his happy place in the Palm Springs sunshine. Special thanks to the staff of Edgewood Senior Living for their outstanding care and support. A Celebration of Del’s life will be at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH BLAINE CHAPEL (107th Ave. NE & Hwy. 65) Thursday, January 11th, 2018 at 1 PM with visitation beginning at 12 Noon and reception to follow.
