Condolence From: Bob Hirsch
Condolence: Uncle Gary was a very special guy, one of my favorite uncles. His stories were so colorful and interesting. His life experiences were amazing and I used them in some ways as guidance in my own life. My deepest sympathies go out to Gary's family especially my Aunt Rita and cousins Debbie and Lisa. God Bless you all. Bob

Condolence: Heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the Schatz family. Uncle Gary was a special guy. I haven’t met very many men that have anywhere near his same energy or positive outlook on life. He had so many great stories. I remember when we accidentally gave each other fat lips while he was trying to show me some of his boxing moves. I think he got in some trouble over that one, but I thought it was great. God Bless.

Condolence: My family offers our heartfelt condolences to Aunt Rita. We love you so much. And also to Uncle Gary's sons and daughters ... Kristina, Karen, Phillip, William, Debbie, and Lisa. Love to all of you in your mourning. And to the grandchildren (we have met sweet Riley), nieces, nephews, and all relatives/friends who knew and loved Gary. My family and I got to meet and spend time with Gary summer of '14 and '15 when we visited MINN. Rita is my father's sister. I had heard for years how wonderful Uncle Gary was ... and true to that, he certainly was wonderful, loving, witty, giving, and genuine. He spent a lot of time with my college son, Jimmy, helping him discern a career in industrial psychology. So much advice, experience and guidance warmly offered by Uncle Gary. We will see you again one day, Uncle Gary. As the gift of Heaven promises a reunion with our loved ones. We look forward to seeing you again. Rest gently, sweet soul. Love you.
