Life Story of Alla Katasonov (Khrystych)
Alla Wolodymyrivna Khrystych, was born April 12, 1977, in the colorful city of Bila Tserkva on the river banks of the Rosch River some 60 miles south of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, into a family of radio technology professionals and physics educators.
From childhood, Alla excelled in her studies, first completing middle school with the highest of honors, then moving on to music and piano education and singing in the church choir, again with great distinction.
Alla then completed her studies at the Bilkotserkva National Argonomical University and after graduating in 1999, travelled to the USA as part of a student exchange program in Mpls. MN.
Alla furthered her education in soil management and crop production until 2004, and subsequently completed her MBA at St Thomas University. Some professional positions included managing caregivers for persons with physical challenges, followed by work in charity and religious needs of her community. Alla channeled significant energies and passions in outreach programs in the Mpls Ukrainian Community, managing festivals at the Ukrainian American Community Center and managing cultural and educational programs at Ukrainian Orthodox parishes of St. Katherine and St. Michael’s and George’s.
In 2013, Alla met future husband Vitaliy Katasonov, a freelance and talented artist, they married in 2015 and together began a creative journey of hosting master art classes, art showings, and participating in various festivals where they launched film and children fairy tales productions.
In recent years, Alla developed skills in the craft of handmade soaps and tasty home baked goods which attracted a sizable base of satisfied clients, setting the stage for greater and more expansive future plans once she passed the dark of times of COVID and battling personal medical challenges. Alas, God had different plans and called her to Him well before her time.
We will long remember the brightness, the joy, the bountiful laughter and happiness Alla brought into the room and into our hearts each and every time she walked into a room—and we hold that memory and her smile in our hearts for ever more. May her Memory be Eternal. Vicha Pamyat!

Алла Володимирівна Христич народилася у 1977 році, 12 квітня, у мальовничому місті Біла Церква, що стоїть на берегах річки Рось в Україні, у сім"і радіотехніка та вчительки фізики.
Змалечку проявила себе здібною до навчання, закінчила середню школу із золотою медаллю. Також закінчила музичну школу по класу фортепіано і співала у церковному хорі.
Потім було навчання у Білоцерківському Державному Аграрному Уніварситеті, після закінчення якого у 1999 році Алла прилетіла до США, у місто Міннеаполіс за програмою обміну студентами.
Працювала у теплицях і продовжувала навчатись. У 2004 році вона закінчила Університет Сент Томаса за спеціальністю МВА. Потім була робота менежера у сфері обслуговування людей з фізичними вадами. Розпочалася праця духовна. Алла приймає активну участь в організації українських фестивалів на базі Українського Центру Міннеаполісу, відвідує церкву Святої Катерини, викладає українську мову у церкві Святого Михаїла та проводить уроки з розпису писанок.
У 2013 році Алла знайомиться зі своєм майбутнім чоловіком Віталієм Катасоновим - "вільним художником". Одружившись у 2015 році сім"я Катасонових стає творчою парою: робить арт-виставки, мистецькі майстер-класи , приймає участь у різноманітних фестивалях, створює казки і фільми.
Останнім часом Алла отримала ліцензію Хендмейд і почала виготовляти власноруч смачне печиво та пахуче мило, що набуло популярності у її клієнтів. Вона була сповнена творчих планів та задумів. Та, нажаль, жорстока і підступна хвороба перервала цей гарний політ...
