Christopher M. of Roseville. Passed away quietly on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 after battling cancer for several years. Born in San Antonio, TX February 6, 1933, Chris was a clinical psychologist, a lover of art, a life-long tennis player and a woodworker. His book, "A Psychological Perspective on Joy and Emotional Fulfillment," was published by Routledge in 2014. Chris was interested in and concerned about others to the very end of his life. His PhD was in the study of the relationship between psychology and theology, and he served on the faculties of United Theological Seminary in the Twin Cities and Vanderbilt University in Nashville before becoming a full-time clinical psychologist. He was loved by his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Reid; his daughter, Wanda Lynn Meadows of Nashville, TN; his step-daughter, Meara Train of London, UK; nieces, Marilyn Manuel of Stratford, OK and Janine DiVincente of Corinth, TX; nephews, Robert Mahan of San Antonio, TX and Michael Mahan of Austin, TX. Memorial service 10:00 AM Saturday, June 2nd at PLYMOUTH CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH (1900 Nicollet Av. Minneapolis, MN 55403). In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Doctors Without Borders or Beacon Interfaith Housing.
