Obituary for Daria Lysyj (Antochy)

Daria Antochy Lysyj, timeless in grace and beauty, gracious hostess of family, friends, neighbors, and dignitaries, died peacefully in Concord, MA on March 22, 2021. Preceded by her husband Dr. Anatol Lysyj, with whom she loved to entertain, travel, and support Ukrainian causes. Daria epitomized elegance and hospitality in her homes and churches in Minneapolis, Kyiv, and Florida. Survived by children Bohdan (Lesya), Natalia (Mark) Rieland, and Sonia (Andrew) Smyk and seven adored grandchildren - Sasha, Kalyna, Mykola, Tatiana, Emiliya, Lev, and Nika; and extended family Olia (Volodya), Orysia, Boris (Estelle), and others who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Services at ST. MICHAEL’S & ST. GEORGE’S UKRAINIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH (505 4th Street NE, Mpls. MN) on Saturday, March 27 at 1:00 pm with visitation at 12:30 pm.
