The first time Jill and David and I met was in the winter around 1986. Give or take a year. They were walking Jamie and I was walking Sam. It was love at first sight for the dogs and they walked together almost every day. David would walk with us, leading Jamie or just walking along. He was such a good boy. He had the most infectious laugh and was always smiling. Watching him grow up even if only on the sidelines, was such a treat. He truly was the best son and friend. Reading all his tributes brings so many tears. Jill my sincerest sympathy to you and you your family.

I knew David as a baby, toddler and adolescent. He was the happiest and friendliest little one I have ever met. He always had a smile. I remember going out to dinner with him when he was 2 or 3. Usually children that age can be shy and timid. David went around the restaurant to each patron's table to say hello. He completely charmed the entire restaurant, especially me. Jill, I am so sorry and you are on my mind, in my prayers and my heart.
