Obituary for Dennis F. Skrzypek

SKRZYPEK, Dennis F. age 78 of Sandstone, MN, formerly of Brooklyn Center. Born Dec. 10, 1930 and passed away Nov. 16, 2019. Dennis was a devoted family man, an avid hunter and fisherman and a retired US Army Sergeant First Class with 20 years of faithful service. Preceded in death by wives: Jeannette & Mary; son, David. Survived by children: Dennis Duane Skrzypek, Karen Johnson, Kelly (Bryan) Kroll; grandchildren: Thomas (Ashley) Skrzypek, Melissa Ruen, Nathan Nelson; great-grandchildren: Andrew & Dominic; siblings: David Ophiem, Randy Ophiem, Kathy (Ralph) Wegscheid, Joann (Eugene) Olson, Cindy (Robert) Bodine; special aunt, Eleanor Siedlecki. Visitation 5 - 8 PM Wednesday at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Av. NE, Minneapolis, MN). Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral chapel with visitation one hour prior. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Therese Nursing Home.
