Diane & I were very saddened to learn of the loss of Dennise. She is one of the most remarkable women I ever had the privilege of knowing. During my decades-long struggle with mental illness, Dennise was always there to offer words of encouragement. This speaks to the content of her character, which is something I will never be able to fully attain but will always strive for. And so to Dennise I say, “Thank you.” You made a difference in my life, as you undoubtedly have in countless others. You made the world a better place and we will remember you always.
