Obituary for June Kroening
Age 86 of Minneapolis, passed away on March 27, 2024. Preceded in death by husband, Martin; siblings, Mary Hermann & Robert Denniston; two infant grandchildren. Survived by children, Joseph (Sharon), William (Rosanne), David (Theresa “Terri”) & Steven (Edlyn) Kroening, Anne (Lance) Moe; grandchildren, Sara, Joseph, Zachary, Abraham, Thomas, Emma, Mathias, Ben, Dominic, Nicholas, Samuel, Isaac & Charles; great-grandson, Reid; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
June lived for her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, hosting gatherings and making sure everyone was happy. June liked crafting and made several paintings, homemade cards, rubber stamp art and also sewing projects. She travelled and loved spending time at the cabin in Northern Minnesota. She could often be found tending to her flower garden, driving whenever possible and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation at Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel (1918 University Ave. NE) on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 from 4-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist (835 2nd Ave. NW, New Brighton) on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
