Frances C. Chorzempa, age 94 of Roseville, passed away on July 27th , 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Louise; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Janice. Survived by sister, Sr. Marie Andree, OSF of Sylvania, Ohio; niece and nephews, Tom, Matt (Kathy), Mike (Stephanie), Ann (Mark); and great- nieces and nephew, Lauren, Jacki (Ben), Alli, John, Maddie and Carly. Fran was a long-time employee of the State of Minnesota serving as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Commissioner of the Department of Corrections. In her post-retirement years, Fran stayed active volunteering time to her church, Catholic Eldercare, St. Therese and various Polish organizations. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, August 1st , 2019 with visitation one hour prior at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (835 – 2nd Avenue NW, New Brighton, MN). Private interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minneapolis. Special thanks to the incredible staff at Cherrywood Pointe, Roseville and Fairview Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Fran. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
