Leegard, Gary age 74 of Andover, passed away 12/26/2019 after a 14 month courageous battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Linthon & Beverly. Survived by wife of 45 years, Nancy; daughter, Dawn (Jason) Johnson; son, Mark (Bahar); grandchildren, Rhett, Elena, Darien; sister, Bobbi; brother, Todd (Carol); family and friends. Gary graduated from Mpls. South High School and attended the U of M. He was a Vietnam veteran that served in the US Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion Post #99. Gary retired from Mpls. Waterworks and he volunteered tutoring 5th graders in math. He enjoyed world travel, golfing, playing cards and spending winters in Arizona. Visitation 4-7 pm Thursday 1/2/2020 at the KOZLAK-RADULOVCH BLAINE CHAPEL (Hwy 65 and 107th Ave. NE, Blaine). Celebration of Life 5 PM, followed by refreshments.
