Harlan H., age 83, of Champlin. Born: June 30, 1936 in Garrison, Iowa and passed away June 21, 2019 after a long struggle with heart failure. Preceded by parents: William and Roberta (Selk) Meyer. Survived by loving wife of forty-six years, Joyce, children: Jeffrey (Carol), David (Lauri) and Brian (Lorain) Meyer and Jennifer (David) Beaulieu, grandchildren: Merritt Rimereit, Simon Meyer, Kyle and Christopher Meckley, 4 step-grandchildren, great-grandson: Johan Rimereit, 6 step-great-grandchildren, sister: Marjean Meyer, nieces and nephews: Dean Bechard, Michelle Carlson, Tim Schuller, Suzanne McNamara, Karen Renstrom, Mark, Clayton and Reed Fellner and Darla Eiden. Harlan, by profession, was a television director leaving WCCO-TV to form his own video production company, Tele-Producers, with partner Randy Berglin. In retirement he served his community, Nowthen, MN, as a city councilman and served on his parish council, St. Patrick Catholic Church in Oak Grove, MN. Mass of Christian Burial at Church of St. Patrick (19921 Nightingale St. NW, Oak Grove) on Wednesday, June 26 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
