PEMBLE, IRENE
Was born September 3, 1928 Lebanon, South Dakota. At age 20 she moved with her family to Laporte, Minnesota. Irene worked as an accountant for many years in Bemidji, Minnesota. On April 5, 1958 Irene married Robert Pemble. They moved to Minneapolis. where Robert was a carpenter and Irene was an accountant at Berger Transfer until retirement. She loved spending time with her family, doing crafts & traveling. She went to Norway many times to visit her father's homeland. Irene also visited all states except Alaska. During her retirement she spent many winters in Florida.
Irene is preceded in death by husband, Robert Pemble; parents, Hans & Lavicia Vikre; Infant brothers, Leo and Leon; brothers, Arlo and Charles; sisters, Ruth Marciniak, Lois Carton and Alice Vikre.
Survived by sisters, Dorothy Erdelt, Helen Marsh, Grace (Harris) Haugtvedt and Carol (Timothy) Bearth; brother Gene Vikre; brother-in-law James Marciniak; sister-in-law, Linda Vikre; step-daughter, Janice Trepanier, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE., Minneapolis, MN). Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
