Jacquelyn Ann “Jackie”, age 90, passed away on June 8, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born on May 29, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN where she resided for most of her life. Jackie was a graduate of Washburn High School (Class of ’47) and Minneapolis College of Art and Design. While attending MCAD, she met Frank Mihalik, her future husband of 48 years. Jackie used her creative talent in her career as a Graphic Artist, working for various corporations including Honeywell, in Minneapolis, and West Publishing, in St. Paul, MN, where she retired after 14 years of employment. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her passion for travel and adventure took her to many international destinations. She was an avid golfer, having participated in the Happy Hackers League for many years. Additionally, she enjoyed volunteering and championed various causes including: The Richfield Art Commission, Women's Caucus for Art, Washburn Class of 1947 Reunion Committee, MCAD Alumni and the Honoring All Veterans Memorial. Jacquelyn was predeceased by her husband, Frank, and sister, Judy Rupp (Atlanta, GA). She is survived by her three daughters, Leslie (Dr. Jeffrey) Fowler, Kari (Chris) Jarmuz and Lisa (Joe) Gillette; grandchildren, Kelsey (Robert) Esposito, Jamie and Jack Fowler, Paige and Drew Jarmuz, & Dean, Jonathan, and Leo Gillette; great-grandchildren, Noemi, Monte, and Elton Esposito; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE) Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral Service Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11 AM at the Funeral Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Interment St. Mary’s Orthodox Cemetery.
