Obituary for James Brian Hansen
Hansen, James B. Age 67 of Coon Rapids, died unexpectedly on 6/3/22. Preceded in death by parents; son, Jerod. Survived by wife of 47 years, Linda; daughter, Nikki (Jake); son, Travis (April); grandchildren, Elsie and Emmett; 5 siblings, Nancy, Jeff, Gary (Sandy), Keith (Gail) and Carol; nieces and nephews, and a slew of best and closest friends. Jim grew up in North Minneapolis with his mother and siblings.
Jim graduated from Minneapolis Vocational High School in 1973 and then married Linda in 1975. They built a beautiful life together in NE Mpls, Coon Rapids, and Upper Dean Lake, MN. Jim had a successful career in manufacturing and retired from Brenk Brothers in July of 2020 after 18 years of service. Jim was an accomplished golfer, bowler, and lottery enthusiast.
Memorials preferred to Jim's favorite charity - Tunnels to Towers, www.t2t.org. Visitation 6/13/22 from 5-8, Kozlak-Radulovich in NE Mpls. Service 6/14/22 @ 2 pm, Redeemer Lutheran in Fridley.
