Obituary for Jean Marie (Stwora) Barry

Age 75, lifelong resident of NE Minneapolis. Jean began her education at Holy Cross School and then graduated from Edison High School in 1965. She attended the St. Paul Vocational & Technical Institute of Cosmetology, graduating in 1968. She was a member of the Dominic Club where she met Denny. She was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Church and was active in the English Rosary Guild. She volunteered for many church functions. She retired from Totino-Grace, where she worked in food service, and baked over 5 million cookies for the kids. Jean was an avid Twins fan and followed Totino-Grace sports. Jeanie also loved show choir competitions when her children competed and long after. Jeanie also supported her grandchildren in all of their sports and activities.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Rose Stwora; brother, Frank Lee Stwora; Godson, Michael Kunza; infant son, Baby Barry. Survived by loving husband in their 46th year of marriage, Dennis; children, George Barry (Jamie), Susie Lange (Trent), Cathy Murff (Anthony), Annie Garner (Mike); grandchildren, Brayden, Adam & Kaden; twin sister, Joanie (Pat) Kvidera; sister, Mary (Bernie) Kunza; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many family members and friends who loved her.

Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE) Monday, April 4, 2022 from 5-8 PM with Rosary at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at CHURCH OF THE HOLY CROSS (17th Ave. NE & University Ave) Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 9:30 AM with visitation beginning at 9 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
