FELEGY
John, age 95, formerly of NE Mpls. Preceded in death by Wife: Dorothy (“Skoonty” Skovran); Parents: John & Susie Felegy, Sisters: Helen Kalina & Mary Manoleff. Survived by Daughters: Pam (Nick) Boosalis, Cindy (Grant) Reginato & Patty “Duke” (Wes) Klein; Grandchildren: Briana (Greg) Maimares, Andy, & Cassi Boosalis; Jessica (Trevor Kliebenstein) Reginato; Kyrsten (Justin) Theodotou, Laryssa (Josh) Madsen, Jonathan (Eleni Psihogios) Klein, & Matthew Klein; Great-grandchildren: Eleni, John “Johnny”, Andrew & Maria Theodotou; James “Jimmy” Madsen; & Baby Maimares on the way; Sisters: Dorothy Zurbey & Anne Kormos; Brother: Peter (Darlene) Felegy, many nieces and nephews, and his “Daughter #4 “Kles.” John was a Navy WW II Veteran (being a member of Tri-City American Legion, Fridley VFW, The Cooties), 20 year Navy Retiree, experienced The Honor Flight, life-time member of St. Mary’s Choir (four time honor member) & Men’s Club, 39 year employee of Minnegasco, & past member of the Digger’s Club. John graduated from Edison High School in 1946, where he loved & excelled in sports. This carried on as he successfully coached multiple girls sports for Waite Park. John was inducted into the Eastside Old Timers Hall of Fame. John was a faithful Orthodox Christian, loved his family, touched many lives, & will be missed greatly. Memory Eternal Dad. We love you. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE) Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM with Parastas (Vigil Prayers) at 7 PM. Funeral service at ST. MARY’S ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL (1701 NE 5th Street) Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Orthodox Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Pella, Iowa or St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral in Minneapolis.
