Kent William age 75, of Columbia Heights, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 after enduring the challenges of Parkinson’s Disease for 25 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Bonnie; son, Andrew (Tarry) Johnson; grandsons, Finn and Ryder; sister, Gwen Benham, nephews, Steven (Heidi) and David (Kelsey) Sitek; grandnephews, Jack, Luke, Cole and Oliver Sitek; sister-in-law, Dolores (Brad) Karan; best friends, Ray, Nancy, Tricia, Kersten Dehler, Donald Balzart. Our sincere gratitude to Drs. Kevin M. Kelly, Sotirios Parashos and Alvin Holm for their expert care in helping Kent. Kent attended the University of Minnesota, served in the Army National Guard of Minnesota and worked as a lumber broker. He participated in sports when able, loved baseball, golf, football and fishing. He will be dearly missed. Visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE, Mpls.). Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the CHURCH OF THE HOLY CROSS (1621 University Ave, NE, Mpls.) with visitation one hour prior.
