Lorraine Marie (Borris) Bohlman Age 97 passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on October 6, 2021. Preceded in death by Parents John and Anna Borris, Brother Donald, Husband Earl, Daughter Gayle, Son in law Bill & Grandaughter Laurie. Survived by Sister Dorothy Podany, Sons, Keith (Candace) Allen (Leslie), Grandchildren Janelle (Chris), Adam, Alex. Great Grandchildren, Cameron (Jenny), Samantha, Ethan. Many Nephews, Nieces, other family members and friends. Lorraine was born and raised in NE Minneapolis where she graduated from Edison High School and continued to live there until her move to Rosemount in 2010 to be near family. She was a very proud member of the St. Clements Rosary Guild and the American Legion Auxiliary. Lorraine worked various jobs over the years from Nat’l Foods Bakery to cashiering at Krogers and Piggly Wiggly to clerical at U.S. West which she retired from in 1989, she enjoyed a very long retirement and took great pleasure in spending time with family and friends when she could. Lorraine loved to bake and cook, we will miss all her amazing recipes from cheese buns and banana bread to chicken soup. She will miss all the wonderful friends she made over the years from NE Mpls and St. Clements Church to Bards Crossing in Rosemount. Special thanks to the amazing nurses and staff at Fairview Ridges Hospital for taking care of Mom. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Monday, October 11th, 2021 with visitation one hour prior at the Church of St. Clement (901 – 24th Ave. NE, Minneapolis, MN). Interment Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Catholic-Cemeteries.org (Gethsemane).
