To Panhi Luba's Family,

My deepest and sincere condolences on the lost your your Mom, Baba and Prah Baba. The world has lost one of the most decorated Pysanka scribbers. Pahni Luba was known through out the world for her talent - she was an inspiration to thousands - her works of art will not be forgotten. Having learned from her first kits when I was a kid in Dauphin, Manitoba to then to meet her when I moved to Minneapolis was such a pleasure., Pahni Luba was an icon in the Pysanka World how provided the Ukrainian Culture a spokes person for the traditional art form. Dropping by the Ukrainian Gift Shop was always a treat ...to see her in action and to get many tidbits of information was always rewarding. May Pahni Luba rest in peace.

To the family and friends of Luba Perchyshyn,
I am thinking of you during this time of Luba's passing. She has been an inspiration of mine since I was 7 years old and began to write pysanky. That was more than 50 years ago and she continues to inspire me. I am so grateful for all she, her mother and her daughters Johanna and Natalia did to cultivate appreciation of our heritage in egg writing. вічная пам'ять
