Marie age 89 of NE Mpls. went home to heaven on Sunday, December 22nd, 2019 and was reunited with her late husband, Frank "Fritz", and sons, Steven and William "Billy" Sawochka. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Kaila (Jordan) Frank, Maxwell (Kelly) Sawochka, Nadia (Christopher) Targosz, Rachel (Tony) Cullen, Holly (Murad Al-Yasin) Sawochka and Alexa Hilger-Sawochka; her seven "little darlings" of great-grandchildren; and her sister, Doris (Porter "Sonny") Montgomery, along with her many other family and friends.
Marie will be remembered as a faithful Catholic and an independent little lady who loved to sew and bake. Mass of Christian Burial at the ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA CHAPEL at CATHOLIC ELDERCARE (813 NE Main Street, Minneapolis, MN 55413) Tuesday at 11:30 AM with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment.
