Marjorie June Firle, age 95, died Friday, July 21, 2023 in Bayport, Minnesota. Services will be Monday, July 24, 2 p.m. at NATIVITY LUTHERAN CHURCH at 3312 Silver Lake Rd, Mpls. 55418. Visitation is one hour prior to the time of service at the church. Margie worked at Central Nursing Home and then as an Anesthesia Aide at Hennepin County Medical Center for 17 years. She was a Northeast Park director and volunteer, and a Tamarisk volunteer for many years. She is survived by sons Michael (Maureen) of Kingsland, Texas, Mark (Pamela), of Hereford, Arizona, and Paul (Jess) of Osceola, Wisconsin; daughters Maribeth (Christopher) Brooks of Knoxville, Tennessee and Sheila Firle (Scotty Wesley) of Ft. Pierce, Florida; 15 grandchildren and 30 greatgrandchildren; brother-in-law Charles (Joyce) Firle and sister-in-law Vernette Kiecker, all of Fairfax, Minnesota; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen; son, Ross; granddaughters Anna and Katie Brooks; four brothers and one sister. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Nativity Lutheran Church, Tamarisk or the donor’s choice.
