Obituary for Michael S. Murzyn
Murzyn, Michael S. age 68 of Fridley, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his Florida home on January 2, 2020. Preceded in death by father, Stanley Murzyn and brother Joseph Murzyn. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Patricia Siwek Murzyn, mother Audrey Murzyn, and his children Michelle (Doug) Leba, JoAnn Murzyn Stubbs, and Michael (Alicia) Murzyn as well as many other relatives and friends.
His greatest pride and joy were his cherished grandchildren, Josephine, Jack, Harper, and Brooke. First, and foremost, he was a dedicated husband, father & grandfather. Mike served in the United States Army from 1971-1972 and then went on to work at Siwek Lumber & Millwork for over 47 years. He was always known for his big smile and never ending passion to sell building materials. He loved MN sports, especially the MN Twins as well as fishing up North.
Visitation 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Av. NE) with a Prayer Service at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Thursday, January 9, 2020 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH (17th Av. NE & University Ave.) with visitation, no reviewal, one hour prior. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials preferred to Holy Cross Catholic Church or Second Chance Animal Rescue.
