Thank you Uncle Mike for everything you did for you and my family. You helped me pay for college, got me my first car, and were always sending cards to me and family for every holiday. We all miss you and I wish I could have done more and been there more.

My uncle had a positive impact on my life as well as many others. He was always a caring person, one who would donate money to his church and one to always help his neighbors. My uncle was a huge Vikings fan and had many connections with the franchise. He would always ask my family, friends, and neighbors if any of us would want to go to games with him. He was always one to give back and help his community. I will always miss going to Vikings games with him, going to Matt’s bar for burgers, as well as his humor. He will be miss but never forgotten!

My Uncle had a positive impact in my life. He would never forget my family members birthdays by always sending out a birthday card with a personalized letter. He would come over to my Mom's house for the holidays where we would talk about the NFL season. He was a dedicated lifelong Vikings fan who enjoyed going to the games with friends, family, and members of the Minneapolis community who he interacted with. My Uncle would build rapport with his neighbors, tenants, bankers, and restaurant/ bar workers. My Uncle had a strong work ethic and a desire to help people. I will miss his sense of humor, going out to eat at his favorite burger joints, and attending the Vikings games.

Mike was my landlord for two years, going on a third. He definitely had his quirks, but he was always a good guy. He always liked stopping by and seeing what was up with us and making sure we were safe.

I have only known Mike for a short amount of time, but one of my favorite memories of him was when he sold two tickets to the Vikings/Falcons season opener to me and my dad. We were able to sit next to Mike, and whenever the Vikings scored (they won 28/12 that game) Mike would get excited and high-five me.

Another thing about Mike is that he was always making sure we were covered when it came to anything to do with the house. He saw that the balcony was starting to rust, so he had it replaced so we could use it again. He recently purchased a new lawn mower so that the lawn would look nice. We told him of a small electrical issue in the house, and he quickly and promptly had someone come and fix it. I'm not sure what we're going to do without Mike around, but he always had a heart to help.

Throughout all this, even though there were some tough moments in there as his tenant, I am glad I was able to meet him and know him in his final years.

I'm not sure if anyone will see this, but I wanted to put it out there anyways to honor Mike.
