Obituary for Olga Krochalk

KROCHALK, OLGA

Age 97 of Fridley. Born October 3, 1924, entered rest on December 30, 2021. Spread a little love around, it’s time for me to go. Olga is now at rest after being in & out of the hospital and rehab for the last year & a half. She was a member of the American Legion & VFW. She spent countless hours at the community center making baby booties & lap robes for nursing home residents & those in need. She was active in the church, Ukrainian Folk Ballet, St. Olga’s Sisterhood, choir, editor of a church publication called the Ukadet about the goings on in the Ukrainian Community and was a member of the plays that were put on in the early days of St. Michael’s. She loved to go to bingo games & attend classes at the community center. The sight of the birds, squirrels, and rabbits in the backyard of her home brought a smile to her face. Her love of travel is making one last stop – to the great beyond, her heavenly home. Vichnaya Pamyat.

Olga is preceded in death by her husband, Peter. Survived by children, Cheryl, Charles & Philip (Susan); grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Ceglio & Andrew (Angela) Krochalk; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Andrew II, Ariana & Austin Krochalk.

Funeral service at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE) Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
