Age 91 of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully at the Friendship Home of Roseville on November 4, 2021. She was born on May 28, 1930 in Pennington County to Karl T. and Ida (Franze) Dalager. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948. She went on to graduate from Fairview Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. Her nursing career had many specialties including several years in the ICU and she has many treasured nurse friends still today. She was married to Robert B Westacott on July 26, 1953. Shirley is survived by the most important people in her life, her family. 5 children, Ted (Joan) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Mary (Rick) Hermans of Lino Lakes, MN, Daniel (Robin) of Minneapolis, MN Joel (Susan) of Minneapolis, MN and Barb (Neal) Letourneau of New Richmond, WI; 7 grandchildren, Sean, Erin, Michael, Patrick (Lauren), Thomas, Brian and Ellen; 2 great-grandchildren, Isla and Rowan and many other relatives and friends. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Kathryn and Adelaide; brothers, Horace (Gladys), Vincent (Joyce) and James.
