Stephen Joseph, age 70, of Blaine, passed away peacefully in his home on Christmas Eve. Preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Goldie DiBenedetto, brothers: Robert Allen and David Michael, sister: Nancy Ann and brother-in-law: Thomas Jansson. Survived by children: Lena (Craig) Borenstein, Chelsea (Brent) Ogren and Nicole Prin (Alex Johnson), grandchildren: Candice, Katelyn, Sydney, Riley, Leighton and Tucker, sisters: Sandy (Ron) Tomberlin and Debbie Jansson, sister-in-law: Sue DiBenedetto and a host of other loving relatives. Steve was a loving Father and Grandfather who always made time for those around him. After retiring due to a disability he spent hours in his garage doing woodworking projects that he gave to loved ones. We thank him for the wonderful man he was and all he taught us, as well as serving our country to maintain our freedom. We ask those attending services for Steve to honor him by wearing a black t-shirt or a flannel shirt. Memorial service at OUR SAVIOUR’S LUTHERAN CHURCH 19001 Jackson St. NE, East Bethel Monday, December 30, at 2PM with visitation one hour prior, luncheon to follow. Family prefers memorials.
