Obituary for Sylvester J. Jedlenski

Sylvester "Syl" Joseph Jedlenski, age 89, of Fridley. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Mary Jedlenski; and brother-in-law, James Turpin. Survived by wife, Dianne; son, Mark (Natalie) Jedlenski and daughter, Paula (Noel) Totten; Grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Sydney and Avery; sister, Joan Turpin; sister-in-law, Carleen Invie; special cousins, Al and Clare Schroeder; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Syl was an honest, hard-working and kind-hearted man who loved to talk and tell stories. He was a great listener and was always supportive and encouraging. He lived an adventurous life in his early years and spent his later years taking care of his family. Time at the cabin was a lifelong passion. Although he had many years of health issues, he never viewed them as a burden and always appreciated the life he had. His Catholic faith was admirable and surely granted him a warm welcome at the gates of Heaven. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE) Monday, May 10, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at the CHURCH OF THE HOLY CROSS (1621 University Ave. NE) Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11 AM. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
