Obituary for Thomas Edward Nowak

Print
Tom’s life was tragically cut short by a house fire on March 17, 2018. He was a retired postal worker with 35 years of service and a member of the American Postal Worker’s Union. He was very appreciative of those who helped him in his career in public service as a postal employee. His days at the post office were supplemented by playing guitar in a local rock band "Rock on Tap" in which he played for many years. He was a lifelong dedicated fan of the Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Gophers. He loved golf with a passion and enjoyed tremendously the many days he was able to spend golfing with his friends and relatives. He was very saddened when his golfing days came to an end due to arthritis, but he continued pursuit of his other interests into the remainder of his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Helen, and survived by his brother Larry, aunt Lorraine and several cousins. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at CHURCH OF ST. CLEMENT (24th Ave NE & Jackson St.) at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 5, 2018, with visitation one hour prior. Please send any memorials and donations to the Arthritis National Research Foundation.
