Our memories of Wally Parlow.
The first time I met Wally and Lorraine was when my boyfriend Denny Johnston invited me to see the Forest Prince in October of 1963. All three of them were in the cast. Denny was in the chorus. Two years later Wally was the MC at our wedding at St. Mary's Orthodox Church.

We spent many Christmases with the Parlows in the 60's and 70's and Wally was always joking with Denny. In 2013, Wally and Lorraine attended our 50th Wedding Anniversary.

A few years ago, Karen Erickson and I were working on the Tarasar family tree and we met at her and Budds home and she invited Wally. It was a big surprise. He enjoyed looking through the scrapbook photo album I had made and he told us more about his grandparents and their immigration from what is now Slovakia. He was so happy to see the family information being recorded in that way. It was a wonderful visit.

I have kept in touch with Lisa through Facebook and it was with sadness that I saw that he had passed. He always had such a big smile on his face. He loved his family, and his church.

Our family; Bill, David and Dee also send their condolences. They also remember the Christmas holidays and graduations. Time goes by so fast. Denny passed away in 2016. He and Wally shared their love of music and singing. We extend our love to Lorraine, Lisa and Walter and their families.
