Obituary for Walter Andrew Parlow

Walter A. “Wally” Parlow, age 85. Survived by beloved wife: Lorraine “Babe”, daughter: Lisa (Ed) Brylczyk, son: Walter Parlow Jr., grandsons: Stephen and Seth, sister: Carol Brown, sister-in-law: Martha Dzubak, brother-in-law: Joe Dzubak, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by parents: Walter & Olga Parlow.

Wally was born, raised and a resident of NE Mpls most of his life. He and his wife moved to Roseville in 2006. His passion in life was his wife! They were married for close to 61 years. During that time, they enjoyed life with their extremely close family and tight knit set of friends. Wally & Lorraine loved to travel alone as well as with the kids. One of their favorite places was visiting Teta Babe in Cape Coral, FL. In 2001 they started building a second home up in northern Minnesota near an area he had spent time in as a young adult. They enjoyed spending time up there for nearly 20 years.

Wally’s second passion in life was St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral where he served as President. Under his leadership the handicap access was realized. He was also a life time member of the Choir.

Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL 1918 University Ave. NE Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM. Funeral service at ST. MARY’S ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL 17th Ave. NE & 5th St NE Thursday at 11 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Orthodox Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Cathedral. Masks required!
