Obituary for Yvette Olga Pawlyszyn (Buc)

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Yvette Olga Pawlyszyn (Buc) aged 81, on Sept. 5, 2023. Yvette led a beautiful life, bringing smiles and laughter to those she shared time with. Yvette was born April 28, 1942, in Lille, France. She immigrated to the United States, along with her mother Tatianna Chametz (Buc, died January, 1986) and step-father, Michael Chametz (died March, 2014), in 1956. Eventually settling in St. Paul, MN, she met Myroslaw (Mirko) Pawlyszyn, married and raised three children (Christine Marie Lindstrom, born September, 1963; Katherine Olga Pawlyszyn-Chuchman, born August, 1964; and Michael Myron Pawlyszyn, born July, 1971). She is preceded in death by her mother Tatianna (Buc) Chametz (died January, 1986), her father Michael Buc (died December, 1942), two brothers (died 1942), step-father Michael Chametz (died March 2014), and husband Myroslaw (Mirko) Pawlyszyn (died November, 2008). She leaves behind many loving friends and family, including direct family of Christine Marie Lindstrom ((Scott Benish) (daughter Nichole Christine Lindstrom)); Katherine Olga Pawlyszyn-Chuchman (husband Dr. Andrew Chuchman); and Michael Myron Pawlyszyn (wife Sandra Fraser Pawlyszyn; daughter Reagan Karmin Pawlyszyn; son Finnegan Myron Pawlyszyn). Visitation will be held at Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel (1918 University Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418) on Friday, September 8th from 6pm-8pm CST with Panachyda (Rite of the Vigil for the Deceased) at 7pm CST. Funeral mass will be held at St. Constantine’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (515 University Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413) on Saturday, September 9th at 12:30pm CST with visitation at 12:00pm. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery where Yvette will be laid to eternal rest alongside her beloved husband, Mirko.
