She was there
In 1996, I was in her first grade class. In that year I wastched my cat get butchered by a car one night before school and it left me traumatized. Lori saw my deep sadness and gave me a book with a special note in it that have kept and still read to this day. The kindness and compassion she displayed have yet to be matched in my life. She is truly an angel in my eyes.
My condolences to you and your family.
