The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Weikle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Fond Memories !

All my memories of Dick are fond ones. Whether we were at the outdoor rink @ Central Park, or the indoor ice at the community center, or at an out-of-town hockey tournament, or the state high school tourney, many friendships & memories were formed thru these years. And thru our sons' participation in sports, hockey, baseball & football, we were able to spend a lot of time together. While the boys were on the ice, at the community center, this tight group of friends would enjoy a game of wall-e-ball. Dick was always the competive one. This same group would also get together for weekend poker nites . . .  many times @ Dick's house. More of my "fond memories"  were being able to spend a few opening weekend fishing & camping trips, with Dick & his sons, along with my son & friends, on Lake Winnibegoshish. Many fish were caught, many stories were told (& re-told) around the campfire, & we have more lifelong memories.

Dick, it is a pleasure to consider you a true friend. You will be missed, but not forgotten.
