Mary & Family,

We were shocked to see a posting on the St. Tim's Web site regarding the death of Allan. Since we were unable to attend Mass since mid March, we were unaware of Allan's battle with the virus. We were shocked to learn of his passing. Allan & Mary usually sat close to us at 5:00 Mass at St. Tim's. Allan was a person committed to doing the best he could in spite of unpredictable projection equipment, but he didn't let that rattle him. He had a great smile and friendly words as we prayed together. Our deepest sympathy to Mary and the family. We pray that God will comfort you in His loving arms. Just watched the Prayer Service farewell to Allan and wish that we could have extended our sympathy in person. May Allan rest in peace and Mary here is a virtual hug for you. Peace be with you& your family!!!

To the Aspelund family, words cannot express my sorrow at the lost of your beloved Al. My sincerest condolences to you. I have known him for 7 years now. As a colleague, mentor and friend, he was just the best! Century will certainly not be the same. Our business department will not be the same. Our business faculty hallway will never be the same.
Until we meet again, RIP Al.

Paul and I send you our heartfelt sympathy at the loss of Allan. He always had a big smile and friendly demeanor at our family gatherings! Paul recently lost his Dad, Leander, on June 1 and so we stand in solidarity with you--- in spirit today, to celebrate Allan's life in these challenging times.
