Bonnie L.  Shutte
Shutte, Bonnie Age 70 of Columbia Heights, MN. Died peacefully in her home on Saturday morning after a two year battle with cancer. Born in San Francisco, November 3, 1945. Survived by her mother, Marie Theis; Husband of 37 years, William; Children William T. (Krista), Peter, and Anne (Samuel) Hansen; Brother Jon (Nina); Sisters-in-Law Kristan (John) Vargo, Joanne, and Marilyn; Brother-in-Law Paul; Niece Krista Vargo; Nephews Ben Theis (Jenny), Patrick, and Douglas; many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her Father Theodore, Daughter Mary Jo, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.
After attaining her degree from St. Catherine’s, she enjoyed affecting as many lives as she did as a nurse at HCMC for 38 years. She loved to volunteer her time at Immaculate Conception Church and School, where she served on several church committees and really enjoyed working on Stewardship. While her children attended ICS, she enjoyed assisting with numerous school activities. She loved spending time with her family and revolved her life around her kids. In her spare time, she loved to travel and enjoyed gardening, decorating, and crafting.
Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave NE Mpls) on Friday 2/26 from 5-8 PM with Vigil Prayers at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (4030 Jackson St., Columbia Heights) at 10 AM Saturday with visitation 1 hour prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations are welcome to MN Sudden Infant Death Center (2910 Centre Pointe Drive - Roseville, Minnesota 55113).
