The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carol Hultman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I taught school at Vadnais Heights Elementary with Carol, traveled to Florida on a C 130 airplane in an Aerospace for Teachers class with Carol (she was scared and hugged her pillow), spent a week in Cancun with Carol and John (back when Cancun was still quite undiscovered), and produced an original version of the Wizard of Oz with Carol. John made our props and my little Westie was Toto. Carol was always excited about whichever endeavor she was a part of. She was a thinker and her solutions to problems were spontaneous and original. She loved to have fun and she energized every activity in which she was a player. Carol was a doer. My sympathy goes out to the many people who will miss Carol, but especially John, Ann, Kristi, Lindsay, Iris and little Gunnar. Carol was so loved. It is particularly fitting that Carol passed on the 4th of July for Carol was a sparkler!
