Obituary for John Petrosewich

Petrosewich, John
Age 91 of NE Minneapolis. Survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A man of faith, he was a life-long member of St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral, an aircraft engine expert for the Navy during WWII at Great Lakes, California and Enewetak Marshall Islands. Mechanical Designer for many major Minnesota corporations; including Control Data's design of the world's first solid state computer with Seymour Cray in Minneapolis. he was a well-read man who shared his wisdom and knowledge as an engaging conversationalist. He will be missed by many. Visitation Friday 4-6:30 PM with Parastas at 5 PM at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE) and one half hour prior to services at the Cathedral. Funeral Service Saturday 11 AM at ST. MARY’S ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL (17th Ave. NE & 5th St.). Interment at St. Mary’s Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Mary’s Cathedral.
