Obituary for Joseph Michael Marthe
MARTHE, JOSEPH M.
Age 86 of Ramsey on June 22nd, 2014. Served in the US Marines at the end of WWII and in the Air Force during the Korean War. Preceded by wife: Marjorie; son, John; his parents; five brothers & five sisters. Survived by children: Linda Derrig, Lisa Sabre and Lori Wisness; grandchildren: Jessica (Eric), Angela (Zach), Tara (Matt), Ryan (Vanessa) & Jenny; twin brother, Dan (Fran); many great-grandchildren; significant other, Bedena Jacobson; nieces, nephews & devoted friends. Joe worked at GRACO in NE Mpls for 31 years, volunteered at St. Anthony of Padua where he served as an advisor to the Archbishop, Deanery Council (all of NE Mpls), was on the Board of Directors at Catholic Eldercare and did many hours of voluntary service. He enjoyed bowling and would like to thank all of his bowling friends for their patience with his bowling. Mass of Christian Burial at the CHURCH OF ST. KATHARINE DREXEL (7101 143rd Ave. NW, Ramsey) Tuesday, July 8th, 2014 at 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
