She grew up in northeast Minneapolis and lived across the street from St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, the church her family belonged to. Marge had a way of touching people’s lives that made each person feel like the most important person in the world to her. She showed her love by remembering their special occasions as well as their trying times with cards, gifts, favorite foods, visits and prayers, especially to the Blessed Mother. Whether as mom, nana, sister, aunt, friend, neighbor, co-worker, church member or patient, Marge was consistently described as giving, selfless and faithful and was known for her positive attitude. She loved to cook and had a several signature dishes that were eagerly anticipated at family gatherings. In fact, she may be cooking a quadruple recipe of spaghetti and meatballs or chicken salad in heaven now, asking if anyone is still hungry.
