BOYLE, MARY (MALAND)

Age 78, lifelong resident of Northeast Minneapolis. North American Speed Skating Champion, Edison and U of MN graduate, school teacher, teddy bear maker extraordinaire, beloved wife, sister, mother, aunt, friend and grandmother. Passed away in Mounds View in the home of her loving daughter Helen on June 5th. Preceded in death by husband, Mike Boyle; brother, Charlie (Charlotte) Maland; parents, Evelyn & Mikkel Maland; daughter, Elizabeth. Survived by brother, Bob (Joan) Maland; daughters: Helen (Mike) Brandt, Anne (Jason) Cross; adoring grandchildren: Tony, Alex, Robert & Shannon; world’s greatest neighbors, Tom & Holly Solz & family; many friends & relatives. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Liu and also to the wonderful professionals at Allina Hospice, Benedictine at Innsbruck, Prairie River Home Care & Unity Hospital. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE) Monday from 5-8 PM. Funeral service Tuesday at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior also at the chapel. Interment Hillside Cemetery. May she rest in the eternal peace of The Lord.
