The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Griggs can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Jessica Freimuth

Mike and I first met in school, and our paths have continued to cross through the years. We attended the same college and saw each frequently, he became a paramedic and I became an x-ray tech. After college we continued to touch base when he dropped patients off at the ER, we would catch up on life and our families. He eventually became an RN at the hospital and again we would catch up on life's events. He saved many lives as a skilled paramedic and I was able to witness him first hand as an ER and trauma RN. His patients loved him he was compassionate and devoted. When he talked of his children his face would lite up, he had the most profound love for them and was so very proud of all that they accomplished. I offer the deepest sympathy to his children and Debbie, his love for you was whole hearted, unconditional and immeasurable. I know this because I was lucky enough to visit with him at the end of October, we spent hours walking and talking about medicine, life and laughing about old times. He was an incredible man. As a friend he is irreplaceable to me, I loved and cared for him deeply and am so incredibly sad by his loss.
