Reneé Suzanne Johnson, 54, had passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28th, 2020 at Hennepin County Medical Center. She was born on May 7th, 1966 in Minneapolis to John and Carolyn Kraskey. She was a graduate of Edison High School. Renee worked hard in life at her career and pleasing others. She was smart, witty, fun and a great sibling. Renee was the one of the family who looked most like her mother. Her French traits came through heavily. To her nieces and nephews, she was the person to always be around. Renee knew how to make everyone laugh and have a good time. She is survived by her parents, John and Carolyn; siblings, Timothy, Jerome, Kimberly, Matthew, Christine, Phillip and Nicholas as well and all her nieces and nephews.

Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 12th at St. Hedwig’s at 10:00 am, followed by a burial service at Parker’s Lake Cemetery

To the entire Kraskey Family our thoughts and prayers are with you all. My fond memories with Renee are from middle school at Holy Cross where she was such a suburb athlete in all the sports she played for NERO. Playing along side of her you watched in amazement, like the other team did so many times, as she scored another basket or hit another home run. Sports seem to come effortlessly to her but she always made sure all of us played together as one team.
I'll always remember her smile, her humor in getting us through our early teens, and riding in the Kraskey bus to games! During the 70's Nordeast was made up of large families that supported each other... like the Kraskey's, Siwek's, Lipa's and Babekuhl's (to just name a few), just know that we all support you now at this difficult time also.

The last time that I saw Renee was at the St. Hedwig’s Festival a few years ago. She was working hard in the kitchen. Helping her Mom, Carolyn and Marion make the famous Roast Beef sandwiches! Everyone pitched in for the festival. All of the kids came home to help.
Love and prayers to Carolyn and John and the entire Krasky family. Karen (Weller) and Tom Senko
