Obituary for Thomas Alan Johnson

Johnson, Thomas A.,
Age 60 of Brooklyn Park lost a yearlong tournament against the Melanoma Monsters, yet managed to score a few “sizzlers” throughout the games. A courageous husband, dad, brother, uncle, friend and player will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Tom was a former officer for Columbia Heights, a CID Detective for Anoka County, and he turned down the chance to be in the NHL, not once but twice (or so he likes to think). He is preceded in death by his father Vern, mother Doris, and sister Peggy. His legacy lives on through his wife, Renee, Son Reid (Lindsay), Daughter Karissa, Brother Greg (Joan), Sister Lori Stensland (Dave) and Brother- in-law Rick (Dee) and countless family and friends. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave NE.) Sunday, (TODAY) from 3-8 pm. Funeral service at IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH (4030 Jackson St. NE., Columbia Heights), Monday at 11am. Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.
