Obituary for Thuan Thi "Teresa" Nguyen

Teresa Nguyen Thi Thuan
Devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Age 83 of Apple Valley, MN, passed away on August 27, 2018. Survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Huan and her eight children: Thang, Bich, Vinh (Ninh), Hoan, Hieu, Hien (My), Chinh, and Quang (Jill); 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and another grandchild on the way. Born in Ha Hoi, Viet Nam, on April 15, 1935, she exemplified kindness, compassion, and generosity to her family and everyone she met. She was an excellent cook, who welcomed new neighbors with egg rolls. While working full-time at Control Data Corporation, she maintained an immaculate home, raised eight kids, and took English as a Second Language classes. Most of all, she was a person of great piety and devotion to her Catholic faith, which she cultivated and nurtured in her kids and grandkids. She was especially devoted and faithful to praying the Rosary and teaching that to the next generation. May our Blessed Virgin Mother Mary intercede on her behalf, welcome our mom in her tender embrace, and present our mom to her son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Visitation and prayer service will take place on Thursday, August 30 from 4:00 - 8:30 p.m. at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL (1918 University Ave NE, Minneapolis 55418).
