Walter W., age 91, of Fridley. Preceded by wife of 43 years, Mary and son-in-law: Ariel. Survived by children: Mary (Dr. Robert), Susan, Barbara (Dr. James), Donna and Julie (Kevin), grandchildren: Laurie (Chris), Robert, Jennifer (Ryan), Jamie (Brent), Anthony, Stacy (David), Kristina, Jacqueline and Erin, Great-grandchildren: Lindsey, Aleksandra, Brandon, Ashley, Brianna, Connor, Genevieve and Jakob, extended relatives: Luba, Bohdan, Nazar and Oricia . Canine companions: Ricky and "Doberman". Walter was a man of integrity and strong faith. He was a 59 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Union Local #1644. He also attended St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church and was a member of the Perogi Group. Special thanks to Allina Home Health Care, especially Annie, Cathy C. and Traci K. Visitation at ST. JOHN’S BYZANTINE CATHOLIC CHURCH 22nd Ave. NE & 3rd Street Thursday from 5 to 7 PM with Panachyda Service at 6:30 PM. Funeral service at the CHURCH Friday at 10 AM. Private Interment Sunset Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church.
