Hnath, George
Age 90 of Brooklyn Park, MN after a brief and courageous bout with cancer. Preceded by loving wife, Dorothy; parents, John and Anna Hnath; and five sisters, Ann, Vera, Margaret, Irene and Elsie. Survived by children, John (Mary Ellen) Hnath, Karla Hnath Dorr, Tommy Hnath (Kitty and Darcie Charm) and Bill (Sara) Hnath; grandchildren, Joe (Brianna) Hnath, Sam Dorr, Rachel Hnath (Luis), Franny Dorr (Steve), Michael Dorr, Justin Dorr, Emily Norlock (Jacob) and Zach Hnath; great-grandchildren, Noelle, Sophie and Luka Hnath; brother, Bob Hnath (Marlene); and a host of other very special loving family members and friends. Lifetime member of St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Avid golfer and enthusiastic cribbage player. Traveled locally and nationally as a proud fan of children’s and grandchildren’s sports pursuits. Happily retired for 33 years after a 38 year career with Northwestern Bell Telephone. His family would like to thank Minnesota Oncology and Heartland Hospice for their loving care. Funeral service 10 AM Monday, January 28th with visitation one hour prior at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH FUNERAL CHAPEL (1918 University Ave. NE, Minneapolis). Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 5 – 8 PM Sunday with Parastas (prayer service) at 7 PM.
